This rock formation stands at the V in the road. The road on the left goes to Standardville and the road on the right side goes to Spring Canyon Town. At the top of the rock formation was a tennis court for the use of Spring Canyon residents and on the left side of the mountain the rock is in the formation of an Indian face. Pavlos and Theodosa Rutzakis married 1921 in Spring Canyon. The photo is actually a second wedding photo taken some years after they were married. Pavlos didn't like the first wedding photo because he was sick with scarlet fever and had lost a lot of his famous red hair. Pavlos Rutzakis was sheriff in the mid 1920's to mid 1930's in Rains.
