Carbon Co., UTGenWeb
Frances Cunningham Indexes to Newspapers that are not online.
Frances Cunningham has spent many years of her life indexing Carbon County newspapers, cemeteries, stories, and books. Special thanks needs to be given to her for all the time and work she has devoted to preserving the history of Carbon County in her lifetime. She has given me permission to add her indexes to the webpage thus making the information available to those who are searching for it. This will be a work in process.
Included in this index are newspaper articles that appear in the newspapers but aren't available online. The process to obtain copies of these articles are:
- Order a microfilm by interlibrary loan from the College of Eastern Utah.
- Visit the Harold B. Lee Library on the BYU campus and look it up in their newspaper microfilms archives.
- Contact the archivist at the Western Mining and Railroad Museum and ask them to make you a copy.
- If all else fails e-mail Kathy Hamaker and I'll see what I can do to help. Thank you.
